Shillong, Mar 9: A blast near the Syndicate Bus stand, close to Harijan Colony in the city around 10.30 pm on Saturday shattered a tin structure.
According to the East Khasi Hills SP Rituraj Ravi, the blast was inside the small abandoned tin structure. No casualty was reported.

Damage was confined only to the tin structure and a few window panes nearby. Preliminary investigation suggested that the blast was caused by IED, the official said.
