Shillong, Mar 9: A Harijan Colony resident identified as Lakhan Singh was injured in the IED blast in the area, here on Saturday night.

According to Gurjit Singh, who is the secretary of the Harijan Panchayat Committee, the incident happened when Lakhan was near a small tin structure.
No one claimed responsibility for the blast though the initial investigation had revealed the use of IED, according to the police.
