Shillong, June 8: The bodies of two Ri Bhoi coal miners were retrieved on Saturday from the mine in Tinsukia, Assam.
While one of the deceased John Nongrum is from Jatah village, another victim Phiniellin Umbah is from Korhadem village both under Mawhati.

Few days ago, the body of another miner identified as Dawa Sherpa from Bhojpur in Nepal, was also retrieved.
The three were trapped in the coal mine after a landslide on May 25.
The relatives will travel to Tinsukia to claim the bodies, a police official said.
