Shillong, June 6: The cabinet on Tuesday decided to carry on with the recruitment process after amending the office memorandum of 2022 while it also instituted a three-member search committee headed by Chief Secretary to select members for the expert committee to review the reservation policy.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma announced the decision after the cabinet meeting.

Besides the chief secretary, the committee will have one member each from the law department & personnel department to look for experts who will be part of the expert committee.
