AHAM meeting decided to appoint George Prince Cheran Momin as the president of the AHAM-CEB.

The AHAM-CEB has decided that since the organisation is apolitical, Bromio Marak will be the new chief organising secretary.

While stepping down from his post, Champion asked the organisation leaders to take initiatives respecting the constitution of the organisation and hoped that the three pillars of the organisation – the President and his CEB, the Advisory Board and the Consultancy Panel will take the organisation into new heights.

George Prince Cheran Momin, while accepting to undertake the presidency of the organisation, has asked the CEB, the Advisory Board and the Consultancy Panel to coordinate to re-ignite the organisation towards a pan Achik movement beyond boundaries and geographical limits. He has undertaken an oath to uphold the constitution of the organisation and the decisions of the three pillars of the organisation.

The AHAM-CEB meeting has decided to serve the people of the region with dignity, honesty and self-sacrifice.
