Shillong, Nov 2: Cabinet Minister Paul Lyngdoh said on Monday (Nov 2) that Chief Minister Conrad Sangma conveyed continuity as far as tourism is concerned indicating allotting tourism portfolio to him.
Speaking to reporters after he was sworn in as minister, Lyngdoh said he would ensure implementation of pending tourism projects.
Earlier, speaking to reporters, the chief minister said he will decide on the portfolio for the newly inducted cabinet minister in a day or two.
“Allow me to do that and once that is done what portfolios will be given to him those decisions will be made in due course. I have not come to my final conclusions. As soon as I do that and by tomorrow I expect that you should be able to know about the portfolios”, the chief minister said.
