Shillong, Feb 22: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has ruled out suspended CLP leader Ampareen Lyngdoh getting any cabinet berth.
Speaking to reporters, the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said the MLA had also not asked for any assignment in the MDA
“Ampareen had mentioned specifically that even though she may not be accommodated, she is okay with it. She said she would like to work in a productive manner and support the government in whatever way possible,” Sangma said
He said that the CLP leader has been very clear that it is not something that is priority to her.
“Based on that we will see and we will discuss how to move forward,” Sangma added.
Four out of five suspended Congress MLAs were appointed as co-chairmen in the MDA government on February 18.
