Shillong, Jan 20: The Ministry of Home Affairs will examine the reports to resolve the long pendingĀ boundary dispute in six areas of difference.
The chief ministers of both Assam and Meghalaya met Amit Shah in New Delhi on Thursday and apprised him about the reports of the regional committees.

According to the tweet of chief minister Conrad Sangma, Shah expressed happiness on the initiative taken by both the states on the matter.
“We will meet HM again post 26th Jan”, Conrad said.
