Shillong, Nov 25: A collision between the pilot car of Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and a pick-up truck at Upper Shillong has prompted Conrad to cancel an event in Dawki, West Jaintia Hills on Saturday.
The chief minister is safe, police said.

The accident took place when the chief minister was on his way to Dawki for an official programme, the police said, adding both the pick-up truck and the pilot car of the CM’s convoy were partially damaged.
Sources added that the chief minister cancelled his programme after the accident.
