Shillong,Oct 28: The Congress party has set up a process using chatbot on WhatsApp wherein the user has to send a simple ‘hi or hello’ to 9077909175 for primary membership.
Briefing reporters on registration for primary membership,MPCC president Vincent Pala said on Thursday that the user will be asked for name, voter id number, and has to upload the picture of voter id and take a selfie and upload.

“This entire process takes less than a minute, and once this is done, the information fed in by user is verified at the back-end and once verified, a digital primary member identity card is sent to the user on WhatsApp,” Pala said.
