Cong wants govt to resolve issues of SSA teachers, Municipal employees

Shillong, Dec 2: The CLP meeting attended by five Congress MLAs has asked the state government to release the pending salary of both the SSA teachers and the Municipal employees.

While the government is yet to release the salary of SSA teachers for a few months, the municipal employees have not received the salary for four months.

As the municipal employees are on strike, this has affected civic management in Shillong, Tura and Jowai, the CLP leader Ampareen Lyngdoh told reporters, while asking the government  to address their issues.
