Shillong, Aug 23: The Congress is preparing the letter to be sent to MDA partners for a new dispensation.
A party source said on Monday that the CLP leader Mukul Sangma is preparing the letter to be sent to the MDA coalition partners to support an alternative government.
The HSPDP said on Monday it has not received any letter from the Congress for discussing the new dispensation.
Earlier, the UDP had also ruled out any change of government.
The idea of a new dispensation was mooted by the CLP leader following the killing of former HNLC leader Cherishtarfield Thangkhiew and the subsequent law and order issues.
The HSPDP secretary and cabinet minister Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar said the party is happy over the steps taken by the government to institute a judicial inquiry into the matter.
