Ganja seized
On April 29 around 11.30 am, police conducted checking near Phramer Traffic Cell , West Janitia Hills, intercepted one truck (AS-25-EC-3411) and recovered / seized 422.15 kg of ganja from the vehicle. In this connection, police arrested three persons, namely, Amit Sarkar (35), Jahan Uddin (25) and Sonowan Ali (26).
Bike theft
Amirul Hoque lodged a complaint that on April 27 night, miscreants stole his motorcycle (AS-18H-4945) which was parked at Jadi Bazar in South Garo Hills.
Electrical wires stolen
Bidhan Talukdar lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of April 26 and 27, miscreants stole electrical wires from Jail Road in the city.
Excise vehicle battery missing
On April 24, Assistant Commissioner of Excise, Shillong lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on April 24 morning, miscreants stole one vehicle battery from a departmental vehicle (ML-01-1907) which was parked at Office Parking Lot.
