Shillong, Sept 22: Chief Secretary DP Wahlang is in touch with his Assam counterpart regarding the threat of Assam tourist taxi drivers on vehicular movement to Shillong.
The response of Assam drivers was after Meghalaya taxi drivers’ body decided to intensify stir to restrict Assam tourist vehicles to Meghalaya.

BJP MLA Sanbor Shullai has written to Assam Chief Minister seeking his intervention.
An official source said on Sunday that the chief secretary is following up the matter with the Assam chief secretary.
Again on Monday, the matter will be followed up through video conference, the official added.
