Shillong, April 26: The day temperature in the city on Tuesday stood at maximum 28.0 degree Celsius and minimum 16.9 degree Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Upper Shillong, said similar day temperature is expected on Wednesday and it may reduce on Thursday.
For the past few days, the sky was clear resulting in the heat but the wind provided some respite.
