Shillong, July 28: The East Khasi Hills District Administration has banned the protest carried out by TUR activist Angela Rangad at the gate of main secretariat.
Angela has been on a solo strike since last week in protest against the delay on the part of the government to release income support to the poor affected by Covid.

The support for Angela swelled on Wednesday with more people participating in it.
Later, the activist shifted the protest venue to the area at the parking lot near additional secretariat.
