Shillong,Sept 16: The meeting organised by the MPCC on Thursday evening to accept RG Lyngdoh and PN Syiem among others to the party fold were not attended by Garo MLAs.
Though the CLP leader Mukul Sangma was invited for the function, he did not turn up.

When asked , the new MPCC president Vincent Pala said Mukul may be busy with prepration for the Assembly session.
Only the newly appointed working president Marthon Sangma was present.
Sources said Mukul’s camp is unhappy over the manner in which new functionaries of MPCC were appointed as his camp did not have any representation.
Recently, Mukul expressed displeasure over lack of unity among three major tribes-Khasi-Jaintia and Garo by stating that there are attempts to divide people.
