EURO 2020: Denmark’s Christian Eriksen hospitalised, stable
Copenhagen, Jun 12 (UNI) Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, who collapsed during the EURO 2020 match against Finland at Parken Stadium here, was hospitalised and is currently stable.
“Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET. The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised,” the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) wrote on Twitter.

The match was immediately suspended following the incident. Medics had to conduct Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to revive the footballer, who was later carried out off a stretcher.
