Nongstoin, Nov 4: A training and input distribution programme for farmers was organised at Mawkynbat under Mawthadrashan block in West Khasi Hills recently.
The programme — organised by College of Agriculture, Kyrdemkulai, in collaboration with Nongstoin College, NECTAR, Shillong and other ICAR institutes — provided one-day training to 59 farmers in remote areas of the district. The trainees were given kitchen garden kits, which had seeds of 10 vegetables.
