Shillong, Dec 7: Social activist Greneth M Sangma has lodged a complaint with the police in Baghmara against an unidentified man throwing a minor into a river from a bridge at Garugittim in Siju, South Garo Hills.
Others who were witnessing the incident did not stop the man.

After the matter was brought to her notice, the chairperson of state commission for protection of child rights, Iamonlang Syiem took up the issue with the police.
