Shillong, April 4: A fire destroyed an abandoned house at Harisabha, Laban here on Saturday night.
According to eye witnesses, the fire spread rapidly due to wind, thereby destroying the house though attempts were made by the fire tenders to douse the fire

They said as the house was abandoned, there is a possibility of anti-social elements taking advantage.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained .
