Shillong, Feb 25: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday said that there is a need to look beyond the job reservation in the state.
In reply to a short-duration discussion initiated by Ardent Basaiawmoit (VPP) on the report of the committee on reservation policy, the chief minister said that beyond the reservation policy, the government is focusing on the creation of jobs.

The chief minister claimed that over 3.5 lakh jobs were created during the tenure of the government.
He also called for the unity of all sections of the people.
