Shillong, June 30: Police arrested four persons from Tripura for possessing ganja.
According to the police, after getting information that one vehicle with Tripura registration number coming from Umkiang and proceeding to Khliehriat was suspected to be carrying illegal contraband, a check was carried out at Umtyra and a Santro vehicle with lTR04 A 0254 registration was detained along with four occupants.

The accused are Amit Mog (29) and Babu Mog both residents of Panisagar, North Tripura, Rajesh Kumar Keang (33) and Sanjit Debarma (42), residents of West Tripura.
Police seized 51.03 kg of marijuana, five mobile phones, Rs13540 and one Santro vehicle.
