Shillong,Aug 17: The All Garo Hills Joint Action Committee (AGHJAC), a delegation from Garo Hills, called on Robin Hibu, special commissioner of Delhi Police on Tuesday at his office in Delhi Police Headquarters, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi and discussed various issues pertaining to racial discrimination of the Northeastern people at Delhi and NCT.
The committee also discussed the recent case of Samuel Sangma and Rosy Sangma who died mysteriously in a Delhi hotel and ALFAA Hospital Gurugram, Haryana respectively.
The committee urged the Delhi police and Gurugram police to speed up the investigation and bring justice to the victims.
The AGHJAC will meet union ministers and women’s commission to take up the matter.
The delegation will also meet the MPs of the North East.
