George Lyngdoh takes up plight of students appearing for CUET exams

Shillong, June 6: TMC state Vice President George Lyngdoh took to Twitter to retweet a tweet by a concerned student asking for a change in dates of examinations as there are clashes in dates regarding certain subjects of the NEHU and CUET exams.

“This has caused anxiety to the youths of the state who have to choose between their end-semester exams and the CUET exams, if these exams were to happen simultaneously. And might ultimately have to miss out on writing the important CUET exams”, said a statement issued by the former MLA.

Lyngdoh has urged Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma to intervene into the matter and solve the issue.

With the introduction of the CUET exams, students have to sit through and clear the exams to get admission in various educational institutions in the country.
