Shillong, March 21: The Garo Hills pressure groups have protested in Delhi on Sunday demanding action against illegal immigrants, following violence over polls in Garo Hills Autonomous District Council(GHADC).
The move comes in the wake of arrests of members of the pressure groups from Garo Hills, who were protesting against the participation of non-tribals in GHADC polls .

Sources said that the activists sought the intervention of the Centre on ‘random’ arrests.
