Govt advisory: Relax mandatory testing of unvaccinated people

Shillong, April 10: The state government has advised the deputy commissioners and others that in view of less Covid-19 cases, insistence for mandatory testing of unvaccinated people be relaxed.

However, the advisory added that the Covid appropriate behaviour such as mask wearing, hand washing and physical distancing should be mandatorily followed.

“Further unvaccinated people must be counselled to get vaccinated at the earliest”, the advisory said.
