Shillong, Aug 23: VPP MLA Adelbert Nongrum raised the need to allow more days for the autumn session which started on Friday.
However, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prestone Tynsong and Assembly Speaker Thomas Sangma disallowed the request but added that more time can be given but not days as it was already approved by the Business Advisory Committee.

TMC members Charles Pyngrope and Mukul Sangma also gave suggestions to utilise time allotted by the BAC.
However , as Adelbert did not withdraw the amendment motion it was rejected by the House.
