Shillong, Aug 23: Assembly on Friday paid tribute to former chief minister SC Marak, who represented Resubelpara and former MLA Raisen Mawsor who had represented Mawshynrut.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong started with the obituary reference followed by the Leader of Opposition Ronnie Lyngdoh ( Cong), Speaker Thomas Sangma, Charles Pyngrope, Mukul Sangma (both AITC) and Ampareen Lyngdoh (NPP) among others.
