Shillong, April 25:The state government held an internal meeting on roster system, an official source said on Tuesday.
According to the source, the state legal team apprised the government about the roster system, a tool to implement the state reservation policy.

The source added that the government will explain its position to various groups after the matter is discussed by the cabinet and the MDA partners.
The government may go for a middle path while addressing the grievances of all groups, the source added.
