Shillong, June 1: The state government has notified the expert committee to review the state reservation policy.
According to the notification issued on June 1, the expert committee is to review the state reservation policy as notified in Resolution dated January 12, 1972.

The chairperson and members will consist of experts in constitutional law, economics, sociology, demographic studies and related fields which will be notified by the government.
The expert committee will obtain views from all stakeholders by conducting field visits to all parts of the state.
