Shillong, April 21: The state government will upgrade more secondary schools into higher secondary schools to address issue of admissions following the high SSLC pass percentage.
After a meeting, Director School Education Literacy Banteilang J Kharshandi said the government will introduce new streams and open new shifts after receiving the proposals from the District School Education Officers (DSEOs),

This meeting chaired by the Commissioner & Secretary Vijay Kumar Mantri was attended by the DSEOs and Sub Divisional School Education Officers (SDSEOs).
