Shillong, Aug 30: The government has not taken any decision on the demand of the midday meal workers for enhancing their monthly honorarium.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said the government will discuss the matter very soon.

The midday meal workers have resorted to strike as the government failed to address their demand.
The All Meghalaya Mid Day Meal Workers’ Union has been demanding enhancement of monthly honorarium from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000.
