Shillong, July 1: Happy Red Rooster, a city-based MMA institute, won four medals, including a gold, at an event in Guwahati held on June 30.
Club Wars in Guwahati is an amateur MMA promotion that serves as a platform for MMA fighters predominantly from the Northeastern Region. The event was organised by Bidang MMA and Fitness, headed by Babhajeet Choudhury, a prominent MMA fighter.

Happy Red Rooster’s Lee Diengdoh won gold in the 52-kg category. The institute bagged two silver with Scholastica Rymbai and Ronald Khyriem shining in the 48-kg and 57-kg categories, respectively. Angtang Kro, who was adjudged the best fighter at the Dojang Fight League North East Kickboxing Championship 2024 this April, won bronze in the 57-kg category.
