Panchkula, June 13 (UNI): The host Haryana crowned the new champion of Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) 2021 bagging 52 gold, 39 silver and 46 bronze medals.
Maharashtra finished second with 45 gold medals after putting up a tough fight. Karnataka bagged the third position with 22 golds.
For the fifth Khelo India Youth Games, after Panchkula, the players will now meet in Indore (Madhya Pradesh).
The players across the country who competed at the KIYG-2021 appreciated the hospitality and arrangements. The Haryana Government ensured to provide best sports facility matching International standards in Khelo India.
