Shillong, April 27: The day temperature in the city remained constant with heat and breeze and any respite from this is likely on Thursday.
Wednesday’s temperature was 27.0 degree Celsius (maximum) and 12.7 degree Celsius (minimum)
On Tuesday , the maximum temperature was 28.0 degree Celsius and minimum 16.9 degree Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Upper Shillong, said similar day temperature will continue on Wednesday and the heat may reduce on Thursday.
For the past few days, the sky was clear resulting in the heat but the wind provided some relief.
The department said the day temperature for the past few days was 4 degrees above normal.
It rained on Wednesday night and in the wee hours on Thursday accompanied by lightning and wind.
