Shillong, July 28: BJP MLA from Pynthorumkhrah AL Hek is still clueless as to the reason behind his sudden removal from the state cabinet.
He said on Wednesday that he was never informed about the decision to drop him as cabinet minister.
Another BJP MLA Sanbor Shullai replaced Hek in the cabinet on Tuesday.
According to Hek, it was a ‘rude shock’ for him to know that he was dropped from the ministry.
“This is very sad. I was not informed neither by the party nor the government,” he said on phone.
“At least there should be minimum courtesy and whether it is a small or big issue, they should have informed me,” he said.
On taking over as president of the party, Hek said that there has been no communication in this regard to him till date.
It was after the visit of Amit Shah to Shillong on July 24 and 25 that Hek was dropped from the ministry.
