Himalaya gets advisor post in education dept
Despite criticism, political appointments continue
Shillong, June 2: BJP member and former MLA Himalaya M Shangpliang who unsuccessfully contested from Mawsynram Assembly seat, was accomodated as advisor to education department with perks and facilities under category A.
The appointment comes even after the HYC and VPP chief Ardent Basaiawmoit criticised the government for resorting to wasteful expenditure.
