Shillong,, Aug 3: The Hill State Peopleโs Democratic Party (HSPDP) has asked its Sohiong legislator Samlin Malngiang to make clear his stand whether he would contest from the party in 2023 Assembly polls.
There are reports that Samlin may join NPP.

HSPDP president KP Pangniang told reporters that as far as Mawkyrwat is concerned, the party will field Medalson Lyngdoh Tongkhar as the sitting legislator and cabinet minister Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar is set to contest from UDP.
