Shillong, June 23: The education department has cancelled four papers of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC).
Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui told reporters on Wednesday that instead of conducting exams, the MBoSE will allot marks for the subjects -Western Music, Computer Science, Statistics and Vocational studies

The department allowed re-conducting of examinations in July middle for students of both SSLC and HSSLC affected by Covid.
While 34 students missed all the papers in SSLC exams, 15 students could not write all papers in HSSLC exams.
92 HSSLC students missed some papers while 74 students were not able to come out to write exams of some papers in SSLC exams.
