Shillong, March 30: Senior police official GK Iangrai, who was suspended following his alleged involvement in corruption cases, has been granted bail.
“The district and sessions court granted bail in two cases yesterday and two cases today, and earlier , he was given bail in other cases”, said his Advocate P Yobin.

Police had filed FIRs against Iangrai after a police probe team found irregularities in purchase of vehicles, sanctioning of ration and construction of Nationwide Emergency Response System (NERS building under Sadar police station.
