Shillong, Aug 4: The first direct flight from Imphal to Shillong and vice versa operated by Indigo was flagged off on Tuesday under the Regional Connectivity Scheme- Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (RCS-UDAN) of the Centre.
The airline will be operating four flights in a week and will deploy its 78-seater ATR 72 aircraft.

The flight will start from Imphal at 9.55 am and will reach at 10.55 pm.
Another flight will start from Shillong at 11.15 am and will reach at 12.30 pm.
