After Kolkata & Guwahati, Bookish Santa brings 'books by weigh'
Shillong, June 17: Bookish Santa, a Gujarat-based organisation, will travel to the hill city to hold a unique bookfair where books will be sold by weight.
The book fair will be held from June 21 to July 1. More than 1 lakh books will be on display at All Saint’s Hall between 10 am and 9 pm. The ‘books by weigh’ is a new concept to be propagated in Shillong.
In a media statement, Bookish Santa said, “Bookish Santa is excited to bring the magic to Shillong. The Guwahati and Kolkata events saw an overwhelming response from book enthusiasts. Whether you’re a fan of timeless classics, gripping thrillers, thought-provoking non-fiction, or heart-warming romance, there’s something for everyone at this one-of-a-kind event. The organisation already held book fairs in Guwahati and Kolkata.
