The union had requested an investigation into the substandard services of the hospital employees.

The MHRC had also taken suo motu cognizance of the case and issued notice to the principal secretary, Health and Family Welfare.

In a follow-up, the DMHO stated that last month, after requesting a report, they had written again to the DHS to expedite the matter, ensuring that assistance reaches the family members as quickly as possible. The DMHO also assured the organisation that by December 15, they would respond with actions to engage higher authorities.

The union further insisted that the findings of the government inquiry over the past few months should be made public through the media.
