Shillong, Aug 23: The KHADC has approved the adjustment of villages falling under delimited constituencies as recommended by the select committee.
Changes
1) Delete Paham Sohbar village under 2-Nongpoh Constituency and add the same to 1- Jirang Constituency.
2) Delete Iewmawlong village under 2-Nongpoh Constituency and add the same to 4-Umsning Constituency.
3) Delete Lapalang and Nongrah villages under 6-Sohryngkham Constituency and add the same to 16-Nongthymmai Constituency.
4) Delete Raibah, Nongthymmai Raidewsaw, Mawlongroh, Domshken Rum, Domshken and Mawshaliah villages under 12-Mawsynram Constituency and add the same to 26-Langrin Constituency.
5) Delete Cleve Colony, Risa Colony, and Tripura Castle villages under Nongthymmai Constituency and add the same to 17-Laitumkhrah-Malki Constituency.
6) Delete Umsawli, Lyngkien and Mawsier villages under 17-Laitumkhrah- Malki Constituency and add the same to 18-Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah Constituency.
7) Delete Lumdorbar, Lumsohphoh, Mynsain and Kynjatphutbol villages under 17-Laitumkhrah-Malki Constituency and add the same to 15-Laban- Mawprem Constituency.
8) Delete Lumshngain village under 17-Laitumkhrah-Malki Constituency and add the same to 16-Nongthymmai Constituency.
9) Delete Mawpat village under 20-Mawlai Constituency and add the same to 18-Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah Constituency.
10) Delete Laitniangtlong, Wahrisain, Laitmawsiang, Nongriwah, Sohpian, Mawkynroh, Marten, Wahsohlait and Dewsaw villages under 22- Nongspung-Sohiong Constituency and add the same to 21-Mawphlang- Diengiei Constituency.
11) Delete Kseh Kohlong, Marngor, Laitkseh, Upper Laitkseh, Langlew, Mawkhan Pambeh, Mawkhan Wahkwang, Phyllut, Mawblei-Mawjnoin, Law Namlang, and Nongdom Laitmilang villages under 24-Pariong- Mawthadraishan Constituency and add the same to 27-Nongstoin Constituency.
12) Delete Nongriat, Nginiong and Mawlum Nginiong villages under 24-Pariong- Mawthadraishan Constituency and add the same to 28-Rambrai-Jyrngam Constituency.
13) Delete Mawkohmah village under 27-Nongstoin Constituency and add the same to 28-Rambrai-Jyrngam Constituency.
14) Delete Myniar, Myniar (B), Kriangrin, Siangra, Mawbyrngem, Patharkhnang, Rwiang, Mawruksoin, Thynri, Thiepjaphlang, Nongkyndang, Nongpdeng, Nongdiengkain, Nongrathaw and Nongpdeng (J) villages under 28-Rambrai-Jyrngam Constituency and add the same to29- Mawshynrut Constituency.
15) Delete Diskiang village under 28-Rambrai-Jyrngam Constituency and add the same to27-Nongstoin Constituency.
16) Delete Malang Khasi, Malangjoypur, Sildubi, Dilbot, Aberam, Dubakdrop, Nonghawei, Agreng, Amagoan, Malang Salbari, Gohanimara, Mawsmai, Mawkhar, Poriu, Jasyllar, Porskhen, Simanaguri, LumMawblei, Hadok, Langdongdai, Nongdubir, Porla (Nongtrai), Mawkuru, Mawkuru (B), Mawkuru(C), Pormawlein, Nongmisei, Porthyrnang, Nongkabur, Nongumkap and Nonghawei villages under 29-Mawshynrut Constituency and add the same to 28-Rambrai-Jyrngam Constituency.
17) Delete Risiang, Mawlangriang, Mawkynjoin, Bri Lawnoh Nonglangsain, Nongkaniang, Kenlyngdoh, Pyndengmynraw, Mawpon and Maweitksar villages under 27-Nongstoin Constituency and add the same to 29- Mawshynrut Constituency.
18) Delete Pomlakrai – Mawbynna, Umiew, Mawtharia, Liewlong, Pdengshnong and Rngi Shyllong villages under 8-Nongkrem Constituency and add the same to 14-Mylliem Constituency.
19) Delete Nongrim Sadew, Umthlong, Mawkalum, Mawkriah East, Mawkriah West, Lumsohriew, Ladmawreng, Mawreng, Lyngkhwir and Mawreng Mihngi villages under 14-Mylliem Constituency and add the same to 21- Mawphlang-Diengiei Constituency.
20) Delete Mawkasiang, Mawdiangdiang, Mawlong, Seisiej, Lumkseh and Lumdiengsai villages under 17-Laitumkhrah Constituency and add the same to 6-Sohryngkham Constituency.
21) Delete Laitryngwai village under to 22-Nongspung-Sohiong Constituency and add the same 21-Mawphlang-Diengiei Constituency.
22) Delete Nongrim Hills village under to 17-Laitumkhrah Constituency and add the same 16-Nongthymmai Constituency.
