Shillong, Sept 20: The KHADC will not issue consent for land situated at Wahswad-Umsohlang, Shnat Raid Tynring, Ri Bhoi to be used as firing range for the BSF.
The Deputy Secretary to the Executive Committee, KHADC, in a letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills, recently said that the executive committee, KHADC had decided not to issue consent at this juncture due to protests from several stakeholders besides the non-issuance of NOC by the Syiem of Khyrim and his Dorbar.
