KSU puts up ILP signboards in Nongstoin

Shillong, Aug  4: The KSU Nongstoin Circle  has put up signboards demanding implementation of  ILP and resolving the long pending boundary dispute with Assam.

The KSU activists  led by Wanbhakupar Lyngdoh Nonglait, put up the signboards at Sohpian road at Phodja-ud village on the way to Nongstoin, the district headquarters of West Khasi Hills district.

The union said that the objective was to intensify the demand for ILP and solution to the boundary dispute.

The KSU said the Centre should respect the ILP resolution unanimously passed by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly in December 2019.
