Shillong, June 8: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) wanted Chief Minister Conrad Sangma to intervene and expedite the release of the Chief Minister’s Scholarship.
In a letter submitted to the Chief Minister, the KSU said eligible students have been waiting for more than a year despite completing all formalities.

The KSU Education Cell expressed concern over the state government’s failure to disburse the CM Scholarship to students who fulfilled the required conditions.
KSU education secretary Alerick Kharjana said the prolonged delay has put many students in a difficult position as they depend on financial aid to continue their studies.
