Shillong, Apr 10: A labourer was killed following an attack by miscreants at Mawlai Mawroh on Wednesday.
According to the East Khasi Hills SP Rituraj Ravi, on April 10 around 11.15 am, some miscreants assaulted three labourers working at an under construction house at Mawlai Mawroh. Due to the assault, one person identified as Arjun Ray (52) was severely injured and later succumbed to his injuries at NEIGRIHMS.

“In this connection, a case is being registered and investigation is under progress to identity the culprits”, the SP said.
