Shillong, Sept 15: The mortal remains of four-time MDC Latiplang Kharkongor were laid to rest on Sunday at Mawblei Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Earlier, prayers and condolence messages poured in at his Nongthymmai residence for the late KHADC leader, who passed away on September 12 at Shillong Civil Hospital following illness after he was discharged from a Delhi hospital.

People from all walks of life took part in the funeral service both at home and the cemetery to pay respect to the departed soul.
